Hsin–Liang is an Associate Professor in Department of Safety, Health and Environmental Engineering, National United University. She specializes in research of novel and environmental friendly materials. The multifunctional materials are synthesized from various wastes and are utilized in multiple applications such as photocatalysts, solar thermal absorbers, and pollutant adsorbents. She also uses the green solvents as thermal conductive fluids, modified reagents, conductive fluids, etc. Because of the high performances of resulting products, the technologies and materials are transferred to manufacturers. The operating conditions of technologies in the factories are also simulated for optimized design. She was appointed as a screening committee member of Industrial development bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs for reviewing the fabricating technologies of recycled wastes and green products.
