A lifelong educator inspired by the Socratic and Confucian traditions, and dedicated to bringing academic integrity and innovation to sustainable education projects.

Mdm. Chen earned her Ph.D. in Statistics at Kansas State University She later became a Mathematics Professor at Cerro Coso Community College in California.

She has a deep understanding of instructional design principles that reflect current learning theory and she uses technology to create optimal learning environments. Mdm. Chen currently serves as President for a local education outreach group that provides vocational learning opportunities in business management, creative arts, etc., through the beauty of classical music.
